Luminex multiplex immunoassay service
Luminex assays are high-throughput, multiplex bead-based assays. We are able to simultaneously examine multiple analytes (protein and mRNA) in a single sample (as little as 10 μL per sample from human, mouse, etc.). This includes ~150 mouse cytokines/chemokines, ~300 human cytokines/chemokines, and many proteins (expression or phosphorylation level) involved in the signaling pathways of cancer, apoptosis, acute phase response, inflammation, immunity, diabetes, kidney toxicity, and more. We can also simultaneously investigate multiple histone H3 PTMS, transcription factors-specific DNA binding activity, gene expression, and DNA copy number variation.
Luminex allows:
- Quantitation and detection of cytokines / chemokine, cancer biomarkers or signal transduction proteins in cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, serum, plasma, etc.
- Simultaneously detect and quantify multiple analytes (proteins, peptides, or nucleic acids) in a single sample volume with superior performance and reproducible results
- Simultaneously interrogate multiple protein phosphorylation and histone posttranslational modification
- Our xMAP™ instruments (FlexMAP 3D and Luminex-200 systems) with high-throughput fluidics are suspension array systems capable of analyzing hundreds of biomolecules in a single sample (> 10 μL in 96 and 384-well formats)
