CD19+ B Cells
$600.00
B cells are lymphocytes defined by the B cell receptor on their cell surface. They exist as naïve or memory cells that become activated upon encountering an antigen. Once activated, B cells differentiate into plasma cells that secrete antibodies that target specific antigens. They can also modulate T cell differentiation and survival, present antigens and secrete pro- and regulatory cytokines. Cells are sourced from healthy donors from world-renowned blood institutions using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, human T-lymphotropic virus, syphilis, Chagas and West Nile virus.
