CD4+ T Helper Cells

CD4+ T helper cells are critical effector cells known to either stimulate or suppress other immune cells such as B cells and macrophages. When activated, these cells are able to differentiate into distinct effector subtypes that coordinate various immune responses by secreting specific cytokines. Cells are sourced from healthy donors from world-renowned blood institutions using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, human T-lymphotropic virus, syphilis, Chagas and West Nile virus.
