CD8+ Cytotoxic T Cells

CD8+ or cytotoxic T cells are MHC class I-restricted T cells that are important for defense against intracellular pathogens such as viruses and tumor surveillance. Cells are sourced from healthy donors from world-renowned blood institutions using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, human T-lymphotropic virus, syphilis, Chagas and West Nile virus.
